Let's take a look at the renowned Pinocchio story, which narrates the story of an old carpenter named Geppetto and the tales of Pinocchio. Geppetto yearns for the day when he can transform his beautiful wooden marionette into a real boy with all of his heart. To fulfil his goal, he approaches the Fairy with turquoise hair, who agrees to bring Pinocchio to life for him.

However, the Fairy does not grant Geppetto's wish until after speaking with him and issuing a warning to the lovable little toy. She explains to him that to be a genuine boy and not just an animated puppet, he needs to exhibit certain behaviors and values in his everyday life. Both of these traits are associated with emotional intelligence.

As a result of his naivety, Pinocchio finds himself in all kinds of mischief and escapades from that point on. It is in these situations that he will have to put his intelligence, his ability to mingle, and his use of common sense on display. In the end, he only just manages to secure a happy ending for himself and his beloved father, Geppetto.

In this anecdote, we can undoubtedly observe the significance of Emotional Intelligence and how it is expressed.
